Metal leaf is sold in book form, with 25 140 mm x 140 mm sheets per book. Each book contains 0.5 sq metre of metal leaf. The leaf is sold ‘transfer’, with a paper backing for easier handling. Lose leaf is available to order, if required. Metal leaf will oxidise is left untreated, so it should be varnished with shellac or Ormoline Sealer.
